Banana (Musa acuminata)

Musa acuminata
Musa acuminata, the Bananito, is a species of the genus Musa native to northern Australia. It gives a fruit that resembles a short fat banana. The fruit has a sweeter and more apple-like taste than the more common dessert banana, and that is why the fruits are commonly called apple bananas, manzana bananas or just manzanas (Spanish for apple). They can also be called ladies fingers or baby bananas. When they are ripe the peel is much more black than the common banana, sometimes completely black.
