Who was the first woman NASCAR driver?

Who was the first woman NASCAR driver?
Sara Christian was the first woman driver in 1949, however the first woman to ever race in the Indianapolis 500 and a NASCAR race has to be Janet Guthrie, not only was she the first woman to do different racing series, but also a college graduate from the University Of Michigan. Right now, in NASCAR, Ryan Newman is the ONLY driver with a college degree

Sara Christian competed in NASCARs first race on June 19, 1949 at Charlotte Speedway. She qualified 13th in a #71 Ford. Pretty good for a woman

first woman nascar driver
first women to sail around the world, first indian woman to win unesco medical fellowship
